"Mask" is a true story about a boy suffering from an extremely rare genetic disorder known as craniodiaphyseal dysplasia, more commonly referred to as lionitis due to the disfiguring cranial enlargements it causes. The film portrays the life and untimely death of Roy L. "Rocky" Dennis, showcasing the various challenges he likely faced as well as the happiness we can only hope he managed to find in his life.
